Product Overview
Finish Coat is a water-borne, 100% acrylic coating designed for use in Acrylabs roof systems. It is formulated to provide maximum adhesion to a variety of surfaces, including:
- Asphalt
- Metal
- Modified bitumen
- Concrete
- Wood
- EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer)
- Fiberglass
- Most single-ply membrane systems
The coating cures to a strong, durable finish that is easy to maintain and serves as the final coat in Acrylabs Roof Systems. It is available in white and other colors.
Application Instructions
- Methods: Finish Coat can be applied using a brush, roller, or spray.
- Coating Requirements: A uniform dry film thickness (DFT) of 10 mils per coat is required, with a minimum of two coats to ensure a pinhole-free membrane.
- Surface Conditions: The final thickness may vary depending on the surface’s porosity and texture.
- Drying Time: Allow sufficient time for the coating to dry to the touch before applying additional coats.
